The Origin of
The Foundation

The David A. Hindson Educational Foundation was founded in 2008 inspired by David A. Hindson, VA Chief of Medical Service and Director of the Internal Medical Residency Track at the Boise VA Medical Center. Dr. Hindson was a dedicated teacher and clinician. He was passionate about providing training whenever it could be offered. He left a legacy of commitment, high standards, and a strong work ethic. His unlimited enthusiasm elevated the performance of everyone in the medical service who came in contact with him. The Hindson Foundation is dedicated to carrying out his vision of excellence.
